Welcome to KAT for Kindness! An initiative by Knit A Tale to support a cause that is very important to us and share our joy with you, our supporters.
These past couple months have been a whirlwind, and through it what kept us going was our community. To commemorate this, we wanted to extend our support to a great cause and give back what we could through this campaign.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?
We have designed e-cards with some funny messages, witty wordplay and cute images that would be perfect for you to send to your loved ones for the holiday season. For every 50 rupees that is donated, the donor would be receiving an e-card of one design. You can choose the card you would like. They can be customized as well, you can add pictures, you can add the recipient’s names etc.
We encourage you to donate how much ever you can, as this is a way to support a great cause. You may choose to donate how much you would like to the campaign, that is entirely up to you.

Knit A Tale is all about people coming together for stories. This same message is being used for these cards as well. Some of our supporters and friends helped us design these cards. They really have created some amazing things for all of you. We hope you like them!
Furthermore, through all of your support, by coming together we all can make a real difference and impact the lives of some deserving students.
ABOUT THE CAUSE
We are raising funds for Team Everest’s ‘I AM THE CHANGE’ scholarship. This is a program to support parentless, single-parented students with big dreams who are academically strong but financially weak. These funds would help support their education. They currently sponsor 400 students for their college education.

STEPS TO DONATE
-On the KAT website, pick the card(s) you would like. Each one will have a specific number which you can use to refer.
-From there click the ‘I am ready to donate’ button. This will take you to our fundraising page
-After you complete your donation, email the receipt along with the e-card number, any specifications you would like to katforkindness@knitatale.com
-Once we receive it, we will send the ecard you requested as soon as possible.
NOTE
All proceeds will be directed towards Team Everest through their Give India portal.
You can donate from anywhere in the world, Give India supports international transactions.
Here are the cards. Each card has a picture/message in the front and space for photo/custom message at the back. Choose the card that you like and note down its number. Then email it to us along with the receipt of the donation and any customisation preferences (name/photo/personal message). Customisations will be charged an additional 50 Rupees.
