ONE WEEK LATER ~~~
“Ma’am, your papers are ready. You are good to go.”
The nurse walks in with a smile and hands a large envelope to the pale woman sitting on the bed. Her eyes are dark, hair tied in a braid. She looks tired. With a smile she stands up and says, “Thank you. Thank you so much”
“No problem. It’s a miracle you have woken up after a these months! We had almost lost hope.”, the nurse exclaims.
“Yeah ..well. I think miracles do happen. “, the woman chuckles nervously.
“The doctor said you don’t exactly remember everything. But he said, that you said you had a dream?”, the nurse asks again, obviously curious.
“Yeah. Yeah, I did. I was..uh…in my old apartment. You know where I lived. There was someone there living in my place. He was…good and I remember…. feeling calm and safe around him. Like, I belong there.”, the woman mumbles under her breath.
“Wow. Sounds like a good dream.”
“Yeah…”
