He felt it passed on slowly when someone made him wait,

Fast when he had to be on time but was late.

For he felt like it was short when he was glad,

Long when the situation was bad.

It felt endless when someone took him through pain,

Bounded when he was having a gain.

For him time was like a rollercoaster ride,

Which had to continue until he died……

      Time, it heals wounds

      It creates hunger

      It satiates hunger

      It brings love

      It takes away love

      It makes flowers blossom

      It makes flowers wilt

      It creates history

      It is now….

Is this moment time or those that passed by?

I wish I could hold on to time

The time when laughter beamed from my soul

When life was filled with ecstasy

The time when your words had true meaning

And all my body knew was love

      Mama, mama and teddy bear

Were the first full firm spectrum of time.

But now time shackles me to the rocking chair

And is the bringer of death’s chime.

      Time is irreversible.
Once gone, gone. Only if we could go back and re-live that moment. Wouldn’t that be just wonderful? Re-experiencing! But that is one thing that is out of human reach.
      Time is precious.
We get abundance of it when we step into this world, but how much do we really value? We all get varied amounts of it but, do we value it proportionately? It is quite the human tendency to value it only when you know you’re about to lose it. Ironical.
      Time is money.
Said B. Franklin. But is it really? I don’t see time “ATMs” or time “banks”. Or any “black time”. And yet we give greater value to money despite knowing that time is not infinite! If we value money so much, we ought to value time so much more.

Remember, no return/exchange policy applicable here, eh?

I don’t know what time it is
      Or where I’ve been
      I am gradually sleeping

      Falling into abyss
      Waiting
For the night to cover me
And sleep to caress my tired soul

      It was absent
      I was missing something
      That would fill me
      That would keep me sane

      Time passes
      And the memories are fading
      Slowly into oblivion

      Until there’s nothing left
      But a speck of dust
That got caught in my eye
And tears have slowly washed away

Time is thus a stranger taking large strides
      With spidery long legs
      I can barely keep up
      And an ennui fills me
      A blankness,
      before I awake again

Its whimsical course is never to my liking
      And yet I must move
      As Time does
      Remembering myself like a prayer
So that I do not forget, like voyagers do
      Who they first were
Before Time changed them and their course.
